![]() I very much hope it is since that would be an easy fix. Now, I am not saying that what was posted above is not true. The parts guy asked a technician who had never heard of it, so I went over to one of the service reps who asked the service manager who said that all that was required was to have everything properly connected and it wasn't necessary to replace anything. Interestingly, I went to my local dealer today (whom I have found to be very helpful and reasonably priced compared to local independents) and inquired as to whether this clip had to be replaced and no one seemed to have heard about it. ![]() ![]() I am posting this because I am curious as the whether there is any additional information regarding this problem that has become known since 2009. I reset the error, but the light came back on immediately when I started the engine, which pretty much means the fault is still there. In hopes of resetting the warning light, I bought a Peake SRS scanner and got a code for "Supply voltage" for the left, front door, which is the one I removed. I got the airbag light, so I went back into the door and checked the connection and it was connected. I disconnected the battery before removing and re-installing the driver's door airbag while working on the broken door handle. ![]() The previous post is a little over 4 years old, but I have that same problem right now. ![]()
